Regret

Can anyone tell me? 
Why my heart beat in pain? 
And why even faster? 
When I hear his name? 

Regretting the moments, 
With the pain that I feel inside, 
I always wish that
I was there by his side. 

I could've told him
Tried to win his heart, 
But regret stroked me, 
When we were going apart. 

Days, weeks, months passed, and I think
Maybe something are better unsaid, 
You went away leaving me 
But the memories will never fade. 

You left a girl, 
Broken and lost, 
Now she couldn't know,
Why and whom to trust. 

His eyes we're 
Like an entire ocean, 
And I was just an
Another droplet of monsoon. 

Please! Listen to this sound, 
Coming from my heart, 
I'm begging you, 
Just for a new start...
