My safest place

Surrounded by love, yet feeling alone  A sea of faces, but no one to call home,  They love me in their way but I needed more...  A simple question "How are you? " to soothe my soul's core. In crouded rooms, I found my safest place  Within myself... Where truth and heart entuine in space,  A refugee from the world's expectations high,  Where I can breathe, and let my true self sigh.  How are you? A question that feels like a key  Unlocking doors to understanding,  Setting my heart free.  In those three words, I find a gentle breeze...  That calms the storms and bring me to my knees.                                                                    Susmita Chettri

They 'only' asks

They ask why I'm angry, but doesn't truly see,  The depth of emotions, the complexity in me,  "Don't be angry, it's not good for you" They say,  But what I need is someone to listen, to stay.  In the midst of love and care, I feel alone,  A stranger in my own world, unknown They offer solution, but not a listening ear,  Learning me to wonder, "do they truly care? " It's not about fixing, but understanding,  Being seen, being heard without judgement or commanding,  In that moment, maybe I'll feel less alone  Craving for someone who truly gets me home...                                               Susmita Chettri

Regret

Can anyone tell me?  Why my heart beat in pain?  And why even faster When I hear his name?  Regretting the moments,  With the pain that I feel inside,  I always wish that I was there by his side.  I could've told him Tried to win his heart,  But regret stroked me When we were going apart.  Days, weeks, months passed, and I think Maybe something are better unsaid,  You went away leaving me  But the memories will never fade.  You left a girl,  Broken and lost,  Now she couldn't know, Why and whom to trust.  His eyes we're  Like an entire ocean,  And I was just an Another droplet of monsoon.  Please! Listen to this sound,  Coming from my heart,  I'm begging you,  Just for a new start...                                                  Susmita Chettri

A lovely sunshine and him🤍

When they say about love and care,  I think of that pain,  Which I can't bare. Hope he also feels, The pain he gave. Hope he also thinks of  The memories he left. His heart was like the huge sky,  And I was just another bird  That kept passing by.  The last day together  Just the two of us in class. A lovely sunshine, and Watching the dances of the grass. I confessed to him, With hope in my eyes, Oh! How can I share  The things that I realized. Love isn't for me, Then we had to fall apart, He left the girl alone  With a broken heart. One day, I found a girl saying Love is just a blissful dream.  I responded with: 'You will believe,  When you will see him'.                                                 Susmita Subedi

A love unconditional ♥️ (blog 3)

Today, I am going to write a different story, a story about true love, a story about real and unconditional love. Today I'am going to write a short love story of my mom and my dad.  It all started just like any other normal wedding day of that time. It's the time of 1996, when my papa's brother was about to marry my muma's sister. When my baba reached at mummy's house, he saw my mom for the first time. But they were small kids that time. Who knew the meeting would end up in a very beautiful way. My baba always says that mom came to his life like a blessing and he sees her as a fairy who grant his wishes and always be there with him.  The marriage ended and the time goes by.           Then, my father finished his10th board exams and went to Ravangla for his further +2 studies. On the other hand my muma's daily market was Ravangla only. Point to be noted, their story had already started before that. As we know the typical old times, the times ...

THE FINAL HUG (blog 2)

There were once a couple. They looks like they are made for each other. All happy and sad moments, they spent together, they have seen all ups and downs together. Always supports and be there for one another. They were perfect and a happy couple. But one day, the girl doesn't felt right to be together. Just she doesn't wanted to stay with him now. After some days, they both went on a date to a place. The boy was planning to propose her that night and girl had no idea.  While driving, the boy was sensing an uncomfortable silence between them. When he asked her "what happened?" The girl stayed silent but again he asked. This time she whispered "Love, I don't think I can make this relationship successful. I am not feel right to be with you. I'am sorry but we should separate. Let's breakup...!"  After that, the heart broken boy took out a paper from his pocket and handed it to her. The car went out of his control and just by the a drunk truck driver...

THE STORM RAGED ALL NIGHT LONG ⛈ (wt)

'' Clang, clang, clang!'' The rattling sound of kerosene tin came again from the roof. The fear that the roof will get detached from the house came over and over again. With the help of the dim light coming from a kerosene lamp Kaley's mother and father watched watch the roof of the house. The small raindrops were looking like sweats in the black roof.  "How strong is the wind in this hill. It blows hard" said Kaley's mother, when the sound of tin rattling got a little better and then she started to lit up the fire. Kaley's father added "It doesn't stop. It has been one week already". He had barely finished speaking when the rain again got more strong. They are always afraid of landslides in the area, and think themselves as fools to come and live here. Again, the storm grow heavier and the tin roof started to clang. They could not hear the sound of single drop as the continuous sound of heavy rain filled the room. They got more afrai...
